DMCA / Copyright Policy

Kickball Hub respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This page explains how to submit a copyright takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how counter-notifications work.

1. Copyright Takedown Notice

If you believe content on Kickball Hub infringes a copyright you own or control, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a takedown notice. Your notice must be in writing and include all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the original work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, list them.
  • Identification of the infringing material: The URL or specific location on Kickball Hub of the material you believe is infringing, so we can locate it.
  • Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  • Statement of good-faith belief: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of accuracy and authority: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Physical or electronic signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

There is no fee to file a DMCA takedown notice.

Kickball Hub will review properly submitted notices and respond as appropriate under applicable law. We do not promise removal within any specific timeframe.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in response to a takedown notice in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a federal district court in your district (or, if outside the United States, where Kickball Hub may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

Counter-notifications should be sent to the same contact listed above. We will review properly submitted counter-notifications and may restore the material in accordance with applicable law.

4. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Kickball Hub may remove content believed to infringe intellectual property rights and may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly submit infringing content, consistent with our Terms of Service.

5. No Legal Advice

This page describes Kickball Hub's process and is not legal advice. Nothing here modifies the rights you or a copyright owner may have under applicable law.
